The new Mickleover Library opened on July 12th, 2007.  The purpose built library building replaced the old library which shared the Mickleover Memorial Hall with several other groups.

The new building facilities also include:- internet access within the main library area, an interview room, a meeting room and a dedicated ICT suite.

The local beat bobbies now have a permanent base within the library.  This brings them right into the heart of the community.

The MLUG are pleased to announce that there is to be a talk on China to be given by  Zoe Poynton on Wednesday November 19th, 2008 at 19:30.

We are hoping to arrange a talk on Sierra Leone in the new year.
