The new Mickleover Library opened on July 12th, 2007.  The purpose built library building replaced the old library which shared the Mickleover Memorial Hall with several other groups.

The new building facilities also include:- internet access within the main library area, an interview room, a meeting room and a dedicated ICT suite.

The local beat bobbies now have a permanent base within the library.  This brings them right into the heart of the community.

The Scrabble Club normally meet in the library on a Tuesday afternoon between 14:00 and 16:00.  The next meeting will be :~

14th July, 2009.  

There is no meeting in August.

For feedback about the Easter activity pack given out over the school holiday CLICK HERE.

The MLUG group are preparing a Fathers days pack for the younger library users.  The pack will be available from the the library in the very near future and it will contain various items to enable a youngster to make his/her own Fathers day card, with some adult help.
