The new Mickleover Library opened on July 12th, 2007.  The purpose built library building replaced the old library which shared the Mickleover Memorial Hall with several other groups.

The new building facilities also include:- internet access within the main library area, an interview room, a meeting room and a dedicated ICT suite.

The local beat bobbies now have a permanent base within the library.  This brings them right into the heart of the community.

A group of enthusiastic people have started a Scrabble Club.  They normally meet in the library  on a Tuesday afternoon between 14:00 and 16:00.

The group have arranged meet on the following dates :-
