The Mickleover Library opened on July 12, 2007. The purpose built library building replaced the old library which shared the Mickleover Memorial Hall with several other groups.
The building facilities include:-
- internet access within the main library area,
- an interview room, a meeting room and
- a dedicated ICT suite.
The local beat bobbies now have a permanent base within the library and this brings them right into the heart of the community.
Since the library opened, it has seen a year on year increase in the number of visitors.
