Other groups and activities, that we know of, in the library

Scrabble Club

A group who enjoy a friendly game of scrabble, meeting once a month, normally on a Tuesday between 14:00 and 16:00, in the library.

Cradle Club

A group for young mothers meeting regularly every Wednesday morning (10:00 ~11:30) in the library.

This has proved a very popular group and there is now a waiting list for membership.

Book Club

A group for people who enjoy reading and discussing books.

This has proved a very popular group and there is now a waiting list for membership.

We do not know everything that is going on in the library, but here is a list of what we are aware of. Hopefully we will be able to put more information here as and when we get it.

Derby Carers Breaks & Information Service Drop-In Session

A drop-in session has been booked at the library on Thursday 23rd September 2010 from 13:00 - 16:00 for carers, by Marysia Szymczak, a Carers Advice & Information Worker from Headway Derby (part of the Derby Carers Breaks & Information Service).

Marysia will be offering an advice and information service about the support and services available through Derby Carers Breaks and Information Service.

The session is drop-in but if an appointment is required then that can be requested at the library reception or by telephoning Marysia on 01332 298577.
